Two-phase flow in porous media — investigating how immiscible fluids organise, fluctuate, and dissipate energy under steady driving. The project uses 3D-printed fluidic cells and optical measurements to study the spatial distribution of phases, flow-field fluctuations, and pressure response in model porous networks. The aim is to better understand which physical and geometrical parameters control the behaviour of steady two-phase flow in controlled porous media.
